Vinu Kamalananthan graduated from Bond University, Australia in 2007 and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009. He then completed his Certificate of Legal Practice in Malaysia and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2012.


Vinu's area of practice includes employment law, industrial relations, administrative law, civil litigation, probate law corporate and commercial law.


Vinu frequently advises and acts for clients in all areas of employment law which include termination of service as well as retrenchment exercises.


Vinu regularly appears for employment related disputes which include not only unfair dismissal claims but also trade union matters at various levels of the Court hierarchy.


​Vinu is also actively involved with the Malaysian Bar and Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee. 


Vinu was also ranked in the Employment & Industrial Relations category of Chambers (Asia Pacific) 2023 and Chambers (Asia Pacific) 2024.
